Dublin CA captured its third consecutive boys team title, including its first in the Division 1 final, at the CIF North Coast Section Championships at Hayward High in Hayward, Calif. Loic Scomparin covered the 3-mile course in 14:53.7 to win the individual title, helping the Gaels place all seven athletes in the top 16 and produce the fastest team time in course history at 75:44. Christopher Middleton-Pearson took second in 15:00.6, with Hunter Lampi (15:12.7), Surya Marimuthu (15:15.2) and Kyle Elias (15:22.1) placing fourth, fifth and sixth. Rohan Fonseka finished 14th in 15:53.1 and Kyle Morrison secured 16th in 15:57.3 for Dublin, which prevailed by an 18-60 margin against Dougherty Valley after winning the past two titles in Division 2.
